Dr. Truc Nguyen

Dr. Truc Nguyen is in her 23nd year as color guard instructor with the marching band.  A 1992 graduate of Roosevelt High School, she has volunteered countless hours with the marching band program coordinating the guard routines with the marching band.  Ms. Nguyen has also previously taught at the summer Cavalcade USA workshops held at Pearl City High School.  She recently completed her Doctorates Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Southern California and is the Instructional Designer and Projects Manager with the Curriculum & Research Group for the College of Education at the University of Hawai'i.

Dylan has played the flute for 7 years and currently plays mellophone for the University of Hawaii marching band.  In 2012, he was the drum major for Aiea High School and placed 2nd overall in finals competition.  Dylan is presently a drum major advisor for Aiea High School and is currently pursuing a degree in electrical engineering at the University of Hawaii Manoa.
