Both the Concert and Symphonic Bands were rated "SUPERIOR" at the OBDA Parade of Bands on April 9, 2014, held at the RHS Carter Auditorium!  Way to go Rough Riders!  A big THANK YOU to our music parents and orchestra students for volunteering to help out.  The OBDA had only good things to say about the set up and hosting of the one day event!

Thank you to the Staff and Faculty of Roosevelt, the volunteer Band Parents, and the volunteer Orchestra Students for helping to make our first-time hosting this event at Roosevelt High School!  We appreciate everyone's help and couldn't have done it without all of your support and dedication to the music program!  MANY THANK YOUS AGAIN!

The 2014 Parade of Orchestras will be held on Friday, April 18 at the Pearl City High School Cultural Center.  The Concert orchestra is scheduled to perform at 2:00 pm.  They will need to report at the auditorium no later than 1:00 pm for their warm-up.  The symphony orchestra will be performing at 4:00 pm and will need to report no later than 3:00 pm.  Please be on time because they are giving us only 1/2 hour to warm-up.

Tonight, Roosevelt High School Music Department is hosting the OBDA Parade of Bands.  4:30 pm to 9:00 pm @ the RHS Carter Auditorium.  Participating schools include: Washington Middle School, St. Louis High School, St. Andrew's Priory School and the Roosevelt Concert and Symphonic Bands.  Good luck to all the bands performing tonight.

Reminder to all, there will be light refreshments sold for all students and parents who attend.  Proceeds will support the Music Department.
