Roosevelt High School Music Department cordially invites the community to their Band and Orchestra's Winter Concert featuring the Concert Band, Symphonic Band and Symphonic Orchestra; with special guest Ho'okena with Maila Gibson. Date: December 6, 2014 TIme: 5:00 pm Place Carter Auditorium on the Roosevelt High School Campus.  Thank you to all our great staff---Dr. Truc Nguyen, Brandi Fuchise, Chase Tateyama, Brandon Silva, Ryan Ando, Derik Ching, Brandon Leong, Gabe Choy, Seanna Garrett, Mycah Muranaka, Jeffrey Suen, Emily Chung, Jessica Yamamoto, Kenny Miyashiro, Caitlyn Takemoto, Aaron Emoto, Hinman Zhou, Valen Inaura; parent volunteers; the RHS Music Boosters; and to our Super MUSIC OHANA---its dedicated students and parents who unconditionally give up their time and resources to practices and supporting us at the Marching Band Tournaments! Update: Congratulations to Zarek Wong who made 1st alternate on bassoon in the Carnegie Hall Honors Series Band & Orchestra AND Ria Im has also been notified that she is also a 1st runner-up on violin. Over 1000 students nation-wide auditioned this year and we are hoping that Zarek and Ria will be selected to participate. Congratulations again to both of them. The High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall was established to showcase some of the most talented student performers in high school today. Through an individual nomination and selection process, accomplished students are brought together in New York City with peers to comprise the Honors Choir and Honors Instrumental Ensembles. |
