Update: Congratulations to Zarek Wong who made 1st alternate on bassoon in the Carnegie Hall Honors Series Band & Orchestra AND Ria Im has also been notified that she is also a 1st runner-up on violin. Over 1000 students nation-wide auditioned this year and we are hoping that Zarek and Ria will be selected to participate. Congratulations again to both of them. The High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall was established to showcase some of the most talented student performers in high school today. Through an individual nomination and selection process, accomplished students are brought together in New York City with peers to comprise the Honors Choir and Honors Instrumental Ensembles. |
